The hillside winery (whose precipitous slope allows for gravityassisted production) was founded in 1987 by Gonzalo Antón as amodern breakaway from the traditional style of wine produced byother members of his family. As his son Lalo, who now runs theestate, says: "the whole concept of Izadi really started aroundwanting to produce wine to satisfy the needs of our friends over ameal". Izadi produces modern, international wines that are true totheir roots and a natural expression of the area. 2021 was described as an ''almost perfect'' viticultural year, with awarm, dry summer, without any extreme heat. Rains in Septemberhelped bring the grapes to perfect ripeness. Tasting Note: Lemon yellow in colour with bright, green tones. Succulent whiteand tropical fruit, citrus, floral notes, are complemented by deep,toasty and spicy aromas.
