A stunning piece of contemporary art by textile artist, Theresa Kelly. Theresa Kelly carries on a tradition of lace making that evolved in the Carrickmacross area in  Co. Monaghan in the 1790s. Pushing the boundaries of the lace, Theresa has explored many new possibilities creating her own distinctive design. She uses the lace as an expressive medium, drawing inspiration from many aspects of the natural world.   This Christmas Angel is mounted on a background of silk paper which Theresa also makes herself. A gold foil moon and stars worked in the traditional "pop" complete the scene. If desired a gold plaque can be added with an inscription of your choice.
