Oak /Dair  Many of the letter   of the  ancient Ogham Alphabet were associated with trees. This bracelet  with a  tiny silver nugget is carved with the ogham symbol of the Oak-Dair. The Oak/ Dair [D]in Gaelic was considered to be one of the most sacred trees, having associations with with magic the otherworld. It symbolises strength, endurance and long life.
