So we've covered some simple Geography, Science and Astronomy. Time for some History now… and starting at the Dawn of Civilisation… The Stone Age! Our Stone Age Number Jigsaw Puzzle has some lovely hand painted character pieces that can be played with individually or set up to create a cosy Neolithic scene. There is a Woolly Mammoth, a Sabre Tooth Tiger, and a friendly Wolf keeping our Stone Age boy company. Meanwhile our Stone Age girl paints on a rock using dyes made from berries. Alongside her are some early tools made from bone and flint, as well as a hide drying on a rack. We went for historical accuracy even if it is for little ones!
