The Crafty Rock
Corner to Corner (C2C) is a fun crochet stitch perfect for making blankets or throws - and we all might need those this winter! It can also be used for making smaller items like cotton dishcloths, always a useful alternative to synthetic fibres. C2C can be used to make square or rectangular items and is also great for adding graphics on to.  In this class Brenda will show you how to start off, increase and decrease your sample piece so that you can go home and start a larger project with confidence. It is only suitable for those who can crochet already, using basic stitches such as chain, slip stitch and treble (uk terms). Bring along a 5mm hook and Brenda will supply a ball of cotton to make your first piece of C2C.  Date: Thursday 13th October  Time: 7.00 - 9.30pm Place: The Crafty Rock Shop Cost is €25 for 2.5 hours tuition within a small group of participants. It includes a ball of cotton and  handout. Refreshments included.   Booking is essential either by prepaying for the course online or by paying a deposit of €10 in the shop and the balance on the commencement of the course. Please note deposits are non-refundable unless a replacement is found.  A minimum number of 3 participants is required for the course to proceed.
