Purchasing this driver entry ticket entitles you, as a driver accepted into the LZ Festival 2022, to a driver entry pass for the Drift King of Ireland competition on Saturday, September 3rd, 2022 in Mondello Park and by completing a purchase for this ticket, a place to drive at the event will be secured. This entry fee covers event entry for the accepted driver ONLY. Any additional crew members, friends, family etc. must purchase tickets at regular spectator ticket prices. Accepted competition drivers also do NOT gain access to the Mondello Park grandstand for any part of the event and as such, grandstand tickets must be purchased separately if you wish to sit in the grandstand on either day. Before purchasing this product, please ensure that both you as the driver AND the car you have entered for the event meet the required car and driver regulations set out below. Car Regulations:All drivers applying to compete in the Drift King of Ireland event, and their cars MUST meet the rules & regulations required to compete in the competition, which can be found listed below. There must be no fluid leaks of any kind from the vehicle; Tow straps must be fitted front and rear. Tow straps must be rated to 3,000KG+ and be clearly visible to track staff. Any OEM towing locations underneath the car or bumper which cannot be accessed when the car has entered a gravel trap are not acceptable. Fixed back bucket seats are required and must be fitted securely; Minimum 5 point harnesses are required. Hook-type harness fittings must be mounted to motorsport-specific eye bolts; Strap-type harness fittings must be mounted to the roll cage ie – shoulder straps around the harness bar of the cage or a specific aftermarket harness bar; Noise level NOT EXCEEDING 95db, tested as a drive-by on track continuously throughout the day; Cars must have all body panels mounted securely at the beginning of the event including doors, wings, bonnet, boot lid, quarter panels, and bumpers; A handheld fire extinguisher (minimum size 1kg) mounted within reach of the driver is required; All window glass must be present or replaced with a shatterproof lexan or similar material with the exception of the windscreen. This must be OEM laminated glass. All windows must remain closed when on track; The vehicle battery must be fitted securely. If mounted inside the drivers’ compartment it must be in a sealed box that is vented to outside the vehicle; All vehicles must have functioning brake lights; All vehicles must have functioning bonnet pins fitted so the engine bay can be accessed by marshals solely from outside the car, should it be required; All vehicles must be fitted with an aftermarket steering wheel, with no airbag fitted; All vehicles must not have any additional airbags on the driver side of the vehicle or on the dashboard; Only steel wheel nuts/bolts are permitted. Lightweight aluminum wheel nuts/bolts are not permitted; All cars must have a minimum 6 point roll cage with side protection door bars. This can be a weld-in or a bolt-in cage; In the interest of fair competition, the maximum rear tyre-width is stamped 265mm. Semi-slicks can be used, but the following 'Super Soft' tyres (or similar style/thread-wear types) are not allowed - Valino Pergea TW160, Valino Pergea TW140, Tri-Ace Racing King 160AA & Extreme  VR1 Type-W3/W5/R. Driver Regulations: All drivers who intend on entering to drive in the King of Ireland Competition at the LZ Festival must: Be 18 years of age or older with a full driving license, or; 15-18 years of age must hold a current and valid DMEC, IDC or BDC competition license, and; All drivers must wear a helmet, a fireproof race suit, race boots and race gloves when on track at all times. Full or open face motorsport-specific helmets are required. Motocross-style helmets are not permitted. Note: LZ Festival driver entry passes cannot be refunded and as such, there is a no refund policy. By purchasing this product, you are agreeing to this policy.
