Ladies Bathing Shelter, Bull Island, Clontarf This lovely characterful print is one in a series of Herbert Simms architectural gems that I’ll be launching over the coming weeks. The bathing shelters on Bull Island are an iconic piece of Dublin architecture. Design by the Dublin Corporation Architect Herbert Simms in the 1930’s.  As an architecture obsessed illustrator I have always loved the work of Simms. His distinctive design style is easily noticed across the city, from housing, apartments and shelters.
