In 1969 the vineyards were purchased by Barton & Guestier who undertook major investments in the vineyards and cellars. The efforts were crowned with success in 1979 when the wine was classified "Cru Bourgeois". Tasting Notes The merlot displays flavours of redcurrant, while the Cabernet Sauvignon shows off more blackcurrant notes. This is a full bodied wine with lovely silky tannins and a long spicy finish.
