Pazo Senorans Albarino Rias Baixas , Spain 2 x 75cl BottlesVery classy wine from arguably the finest estate in the Rias Baixas DO. This is a perfect example of premium Albariño, delicately floral on the nose with hints of lemon and pear. This opens up on the palate to reveal a complex, mineral-driven white with an incredibly long finish. The purity of fruit is extraordinary. Illumine ‘Genetie’ Bourgogne Blanc Burgundy, France 2 x 75cl Bottles A delicious crisp dry and wonderfully refreshing white wine grape from Burgundy. It is clean, with great length of flavour. With prices soaring across the world, the wines of this region have not escaped – This is a delicious wine, dry with fresh melon and pear flavours and a dry crisp finish. We could all drink more Bourgogne Blanc and this is one of the most wonderful examples of a great quality well made one. Teyssier Pezat Bordeaux Rosé Saint Emilion, France 2 x 75cl Bottles Jonathan Malthus wanted to make wine so badly, he volunteered his time to be a cellar hand for three years unpaid. It was in those years that he learned the craft of winemaking and he has since become one of the best winemakers in the Saint Emilion region of Bordeaux. This rosé is fresh and luscious, whilst also dry and crisp. It is fresh with lovely strawberry and cherry aromas. It is made in the Saigneé method where some of the juice is bled off the grape skins and the rosé makes up about 10% of the vineyards production. The remaining juice is fermented on skins to make a more intense wine, whilst the rosé is then fermented separately after just 2 – 3 hours of skin contact. Thistledown Cunning Plan Shiraz McLaren Vale, Australia 2 x 75cl BottlesWine making is simple with The Cunning Plan. Take perfectly balanced, just ripe fruit, pick, gently crush to preserve whole berries and allow to soak for 4 days to extract colour, aroma and fruit prior to the alcoholic fermentation which extracts more pronounced tannins. Following the alcoholic fermentation, the wine is pressed off to 300 litre used French barrels where it matures for 10 months prior to bottling. The resulting wine is bursting with fruit, wonderful purity and that characteristic Langhorne Creek plush, earthy quality. Delicious.   Montsablé Pinot Noir Languedoc, France 2 x 75cl Bottles This classic Burgundian variety has been produced in the sunny climate of Languedoc in the south of France.  The climate here is more consistent, with favourable sunshine and consistent warm weather for growing Pinot Noir.  The nose is aromatic with fresh cherries, strawberry and bramble and just the faintest hint of vanilla. On the palate there is tremendous depth to the fruit which is supported by an underlying minerality and beautifully balanced acidity. There is nothing quite like a slightly chilled glass of red wine on a hot summers day with the right food. Pair this with summer salads, lighter dishes, such as warmed figs and marscapone, peaches and Parma ham,  Watermelon and feta or courgette and feta salads. Add some light white Port or barbequed chicken and the flavours all start to come together!   Felicette Grenache Noir    Languedoc, France 2 x 75cl Bottles Grenache is most suited to the climate of the south of France. It is a juicy red grape that benefits from lots of sunshine, and it builds its flavours over long hot summers. There is great freshness, whilst the fruit is generous, plummy and rich, with great balance. The wine is dedicated to those who travel thatbit further, and of course, is named after Felicette, the first cat who travelled into space in 1963. The wine is great -  fresh, crisp and deliciously clean and well made.
