Pre-accelerated, thixotropic viscosity polyester resin with low styrene emission.  Its rapid wet-out, low exotherm and fast hardening characteristics make it ideal for spray applications which require a fast mould turn round.  This reduction in styrene emission is achieved with no loss of intermalinar adhesion.Approved by Det-Norske Veritas and Lloyd's Register of Shipping for use in construction of craft under their survey.Crystic 2-446pa should be allowed to attain workshop temperatures (18°c - 20°c) before use.  They need only the addition of a catalyst to start the curing reaction.  A colour change mechanism is incorporated into Crystic 2-446pa to indicate the presence of catalyst. After catalyst addition the resin will change from a blue-ish white to white before gelation.  Catalyst should be added at 1% or 2% into the resin.   Please note - Polyester resins are best used within six months from date of purchase. *Although this product is described as Clear, it is in fact translucent blue in colour,  The term 'Clear' is a grp industry standard as it is an non pigmented material, This does not create a completely translucent or water clear effect.*
