We are delighted to be stocking a small introductory range of hand dyed in Ireland luxury yarn. Sophisticated Mayhem yarn is hand dyed by Andy in his small family business in Bettystown on the east coast of Ireland.  This beautiful yarn is dyed in small batches and each skein will be uniquely different to any other . It is best suited to single skein projects such as socks, lacework or shawls.  Hand dyed sock yarn ( 4ply) is sold in 100g skeins of 400m length. It is composed of 75% Superfine merino and 25% nylon (which increases the durability)The recommended needle/hook size is 3 -4mm.  Hand dyed fingering yarn (4ply) is sold in 100g skeins of 400m length. It is composed of 100% superfine merino Hand dyed baby/sport yarn (5ply) is sold in 100g skeins of 300m length. Please note shades may vary due to different monitor settings .
