Every 21st of March, you may notice a few more people than usual wearing odd and/ or brightly coloured socks. This brilliant yearly awareness day is designed to start a conversation; when people ask you about your amazing socks, you can tell them, “I’m wearing them to raise awareness of Down syndrome”.   And who can make the brightest, most eye catching, conversation starting socks? it has to be the Irish Sock Society.
