It’s made by the winemaking team behind the legendary Pomerol, using grapes from the terroirs of Côtes de Castillon, Côtes de Bourg, Lussac St-Emilion and elsewhere in Bordeaux. So, expect the style and savoir-faire of one of the world’s most prestigious wineries, but at truly exceptional bang for the buck. Muscular and powerful with notes of sweet summer fruit liqueur, cherry, raspberry, mocha, Sunday roast, chocolate and spice; this is a firm favourite at Harvey Nichols. Tasting Note:The colour is dense ruby with a garnet rim. On the nose it is spicy, with pronounced blackcurrant aromas and a vanilla underlay.
