Why We Love It Lani, the artist of this print, walks each morning on the beach are the inspiration for this print as the colours can sometimes stop one in one's tracks and just put you on pause :) This limited edition print of 650 is a fun, bright print , would make a lovely new home gift. Artist Lani grew up in a cottage that was more of a shed with a roof when her parents bought it. Money was very tight and they lived quite earthy for a good few years but it was always homely. Both her parents love plants and trees and it was always exciting when new trees and fruit trees joined the one acre homestead. That sounds certainly to me like a real case of living the dream. Lani remembers the entrance into the veg garden was protected by an old rusty metal bed end and she loved this as a child, it had a real narnia feel. Its something that can be seen in quite a few old ruined homesteads in Ireland. So, she included it in the watercolour.
