The inclusion of clay in this paper makes it dimensionally stable, preventing shrinkage & curling in changing humidity levels. It is used in Japan as a backing for scrolls to help them hang flat.Fibre is cooked with caustic soda, naturally bleached, made with clay (misu). pH at time of making is 8.2. Made in Kochi by Kashiki Mill, producer of high quality paper for conservation. 100% Japanese (Tosa) Kozo  Machinemade Roll size:    1016mm  x  10m                     Weight:      18gsm
