Dwarf Korean Lilac Josée
A dwarf lilac which often reblooms, Syringa Josée is a small to medium-sized, slow-growing, deciduous shrub with a rounded, upright, bushy habit, ideal for lilac-lovers with small gardens where every plant counts. The leaves are oval to heart-shaped and a matte mid-green. In May and June, the shrub is covered with dense spires of strongly fragrant, single, lilac-pink flowers. There is often a further flush in August and September, and some intermittent flowering in summer and until late autumn, especially in cooler climates. Dwarf Korean lilac Josée is small enough to grow in soil-based compost in a large container and, with its delicious scent, makes a lovely patio plant near the house.
