Saturday 18th June 3.30 - 6.30pm We are thrilled to introduce a new and contemporary embroidery workshop. Join Melanie  of Thread Art Studios for a fun workshop during which you will make an embroidery brooch using one of her own designs - florals, a toucan or mushroom- and maybe a second one! You will have the choice of different bases to mount them on. During the workshop Melanie will give tips on creating small and detailed embroideries, how to add beads,  as well as demonstrating how to finish and set the embroidery in their selected bezel. This class is suitable for those who have already attended a beginner's embroidery class or have previous experience of the craft. The cost will include all materials and tools required including a linen in the colour of your choice, DMC embroidery thread, a 3" hoop and a selection of bases to choose from.  It also includes refreshments. Please note a minimum of 8 participants is required for this workshop to take place. You can book your place here or by calling in to the shop and paying a deposit of 30. In the case of cancellation the deposit of €30 will be retained by us unless a replacement is found.
