This style of binding dates back to the 2nd century AD in Egypt where  it was developed by the early Christians or Copts. The style allows for the book to open flat making it easier for illustrating and writing. The price for the workshop includes all materials and you will walk away with your book at the end of the class. The workshop takes place in Terenure in the studio over our shop.
