The Proleek Dolmen, also known as the Giant's Load Dolmen, is located on the legendary Cooley Peninsula and is the most visited and photographed dolmen in the north of Ireland. This portal tomb dates to 2500-3000BC . Legend has it that it was the site of a battle of two giants. This  painting of the Dolmen is hand done in acrylic using the Pointillism or dotty style, which was originally seen in Aboriginal art. The artist is Leanne Murray.
