Rice Spoon Horn Wood A beautiful small horn rice spoon with a wooden handle. The ideal spoon for serving rice to friends and family. This would make an excellent housewarming gift. Working with Zebu Horn is a time-consuming and difficult artisan process: the horn is slowly heated over low heat until it becomes malleable, and then it is cut into the raw shape to be made. It is then heated again and inserted into the mould to form the final shape. Finally, it is immersed in cold water to set the desired shape. The horn is then polished, first with coarse sandpaper, then with fine-grained, moist ash, until it is shiny and bright. Hand wash only, not suitable for dishwashers Dimensions: 22 cm (L) x 7.5 cm (W)
