This is a special collaboration between Calendar and local potter Carly McCann. Together, we set out to create a versatile tumbler that represents our mutual love of coffee and pays homage to Ireland's west coast.  These 8oz tumblers have been hand thrown on the potter's wheel using porcelain and bits of local Galway City 'wild' clay. This wild clay was dug from the riverbank near Carly's studio, so it literally contains a piece of Galway! After being thrown, it was fired twice and glazed with a special high feldspar glaze developed exclusively for us. They are coloured using natural copper and although dishwasher safe, many people recommend hand washing handmade pottery to preserve its life. Please note each item is handmade and may vary ever so slightly.
