This is a digital copy of the original lino print 'Errigal at Sunrise'  Mounted to fit a 10x8 inch frame.   This landscape print is created using the 'reduction ' method of lino printing. This is when the design is drawn onto the lino plate and some of the design I carved away. Ink is then rolled over it and printed.The plate is carved into again and the second colour printed over the first. This process is continued until all colours are complete. Once the print is complete, the process cannot be duplicated, meaning there will never be another version.
