Loving exploring a new design in this yarn as autumn moves swiftly along, it knits so lovely on a 5.5 mm needle and the marl which reminds me of our landscape  needs little stitch or pattern attention. I am planning a roomy jacket with a wide three quarter sleeve and maybe a shawl or wrap type front. I want it to come in at 8 or max 9 skeins. I'll upload further progress! Spun and dyed by yarn experts in a traditional mill, Kilcar, Donegal, Ireland. Worsted weight 164 yards per 3.5 oz 150m per 100g Needles 5mm or 5.5, USA 8-9 This yarn is the same specification as our Knitfield Aran and both could be used on the same project. I'd recommend projects featuring any or all of rib, stockinette, moss stitches for the marl. Also great for outer wear from jacket to coats. Hats, especially those where a light lining may be added for super cold weather. Care: wool care, cool wash with non -biological product, dry flat after re shaping.
