This latest 2021 marmalade-colored Moominmamma mug is designed by Arabia's illustrator-ceramicist Tove Slotte. The design is based on Tove and Lars Jansson’s comics Moomin Winter (1959) and Moominmamma's Maid (1956). In the illustration of the mug, Moominmamma is tending to her vegetable patch with Misabel, her maid. Moominmamma is no stranger to life’s small pleasures, such as taking a break for herself and enjoying a nice cup of coffee, as can be seen on the reverse of the mug.
