'An Aimsir' by Maria Atanackovic 11-colour hand-pulled screen print420 x 594mm / on 300gsm Munken Pure Rough paper. Edition of 10, signed and numbered by the artist. About the ArtistMaria Atanackovic, also known as Maluda, is a Dublin-based artist and designer with a background in printed textiles. She utilizes colour, shape and movement to explore ideas relating to space, harmony and belonging. Creating a kind of ordered chaos, Maria's abstract work investigates how shapes can interact with each other becoming alternate forms. About the ProjectEntitled ‘Irish Summer’, the collection draws upon a range of moods and memories to try and illustrate the fleeting joys and halcyon days of an Irish summer holiday.   We’ve brought together some established artists, familiar names and new talents to present a snapshot of where we’re all at creatively after exploring 2021’s once-in-a-lifetime, government-mandated ‘outdoor summer’. You’ll see some regular DFP printers and some exciting new NCAD graduates that we’ve invited to exhibit alongside each other for this showcase.  All works are silkscreen or risograph prints made right here in Stoneybatter, Dublin.   FramingFrames can be purchased through Damn Fine Print in black, white and natural wooden finishes, here.
