These strikingly modern cufflinks are designed and made in our UK workshop. The Garreg cufflink is made of a single shaped stone set into a double bezel cylinder in our unique A-frame link design. This link is cast out of a single piece of silver with no moving parts and is designed to be easy to put on and sit comfortably all day.  All Alistair R silver cufflinks are hallmarked with the 925 Sterling Silver mark and our unique Alistair R makers mark. The cufflink stone measures 30mm (long) by 7mm (max diameter).About the stonesSourced in India, Black onyx is a deep black monochrome stone which is said to aid will power and emotional strength. While it does occur naturally, since Roman times it has also been produced by permanently dying agate, which has a smooth opaque surface when polished.Carnelian is a semi translucent orange gemstone which has been much prized by jewellery makers since antiquity. It is known to have been used as beads by Early Neolithic peoples. We hand select our Carnelian for it's rich lustrous orange colour and love how this ancient stone looks so striking in a contemporary setting. While bright, Carnelian cufflinks are easy to pair; we recommend a classic blue or white shirt.Flint is an ancient stone, reminiscent of hunter gatherers, flint arrowheads and tools. We use only English flint, which we hand gather for it's subtly variegated earthy hues and unusually high lustre. Flint is an extremely rare stone in jewellery, but we love how a pair of Flint cufflinks can allow ancient and modern to meet, their subtle colouring ensures an adaptable option when it comes to styling.This soft orange banded agate has naturally occurring bands in the stone which are the result of layers forming in the rock over time. A beautiful example of natures imperfections, no two are quite the same. Agates are the zodiac birthstone for Gemini horoscopes.
