We have one of our most exciting virtual winemaker events coming up on October 22nd. Get some friends or family around and cook Spanish food whilst enjoying some of the top wines from Bodegas Torres in Spain. We will welcome Lucas Gailhac from Torres on the evening and Lucas will bring us through the winemaking process and the stories behind each wine.  This tasting is limited to just 100 places because some of the wines have been brought in from the winery especially for the event. On the night somebody at the tasting will win a trip for 2 people to Torres flagship Mas La Plana winery in Spain. Mas la plana is a mysterious winery, and the home of Torres founding father Miguel Torres. The wines made there triumphed at a Parisian wine tasting against some of the world’s most famous wines in 1979. We will fly you both out to Barcelona. We will put you up in a hotel for 2 nights and you will be collected and driven to Penedes by a representative of the winery, where some of Spain’s greatest wines are made. Once you arrive at the Mas La Plana winery, you will have a full tour of the winery and lunch for two people before being transferred back to your hotel. It is a prize with a value of €750. With just 100 spaces on the tasting, it gives everyone a good chance of winning. You will be dined at El Celleret restaurant overlooking the vineyard with a tasting of Torres greatest wines. The tasting will last roughly 90 minutes and you will receive the six wines, and a tasting recipe booklet from Bodegas Torres executive chef Sergei Millet. We will taste 2 whites, 3 reds and one dessert wine. Bodegas Torres have sponsored the event by reducing the wine cost for you by 20%. Therefore you will only pay €120 for €150 worth of wine and will get the recipe booklet and online tasting on October 8th completely free of charge too.  It is an evening not to miss. We are looking forward to seeing you on the night.  How it Works?Order your tasting case and we will ship the wines (full 70cl bottles, Moscatel is 37.5cl) ahead of the event. we will email you a link for the tasting 24 hours beforehand. The tasting will take place on Friday 22nd October at 7.30pm. You won’t need to open all of the wines on the evening. We will record the tasting and send it to you afterwards, so you can revisit the wines with the recording in your own time. Alternatively, invite some friends around. Start with a Cheeseboard on us, which we will include completely free. Taste through all of the wines over the 90 minute tasting with us online and finish your evening with some of the recipes included in the case. The tasting will begin at 7.30pm and will conclude at 9pm, in perfect time for you to enjoy some pork cheeks, codfish or any other recipes you choose to try your hand at on the evening!
