Through the summer and into August, Ireland is covered with fields of luminous yellow Rapeseed. Planted for its oil-seed yield, it often escapes and ends up in various unsuspecting places around the local environment. Martina captured the brilliant colors of these fields in bright, vibrant images that were manually screen-printed in two colors on textured, handmade paper. Whether it’s cawing crows, the silence of a buzzard or dark gathering clouds, there’s always something to enthral. Screen printed by hand in two colours onto textured, handmade paper. The paper is mounted on sturdy card measuring 32cm x 42cm. It is signed and numbered in pencil by Martina as one of a limited edition of 100 prints.
