Narihira Bamboo, Temple Bamboo
‘Fastuosa’ means ‘proud’ in Latin and proudly indeed it stands, with tall, erect canes that are brick-red to purplish-red when in full sun. The Narihira Bamboo has a clumping hapbit and will grow fast for you in the Irish climate, adding an exotic touch to any garden with its colour and large leaves of a rich dark green of up to 25cm (10in) on tier-like branching. Narrow spaces will welcome this variety, as well as the indoor garden project.
