Ornamental Cherry Shirofugen
A perfect flowering cherry specimen for the medium-sized garden, Prunus Shirofugen (‘White god’) is a small to medium-sized, deciduous tree with a graceful, spreading habit, taking on a flat-topped appearance as it matures. Fragrant, double white flowers open from pink buds in May, turning pink as they age. The leaves emerge bronze, turning dark green in summer and coppery-red in autumn. A fairly fast-growing tree, which develops real presence. Holds the RHS Award of Garden Merit.
