This is a rare find. Originally used as a dowry chest in India, this exquisite 19th-century chest has very fine carving handcrafted by skilled woodcarvers. Three large geometric medallions adorned the geometric lid. The one in the middle open to store the valuables. Today, it would make a stunning log box by the fireplace, in the hallway for storage, in the bathroom or the bedroom. The wood carving would add some exotism to your home.
