Tales for Tadpoles
Shannon is an Irish illustrator, interested in fairy tales, knitwear, mythology, plants, feminism and of course excellent storytelling found in books and animation. She is a graduate of Limerick School of Art and Design. She tries to create images that examine the role of fiction and its ability to shape our perception of reality.
Curled up by the window, overlooking the night sky in London reading a favourite novel.
This limited edition original illustration features an insight into a small writers studio filled with books of all shapes and sizes that feature the city. With hints to Harry Potter, Jane Austen, Winnie the Pooh and Sherlock Holmes, each detail is a nod to a favourite story.
Prints are 210gsm matte giclee prints and are limited editions of 30. Each print is numbered and signed by the artist. If you would like your print framed and ready to hang you can purchase a frame here.
