Tales for Tadpoles
Molly Brett (1902-1990) grew up in a country district of Surrey, the daughter of Mary Gould Brett, a gifted animal painter. She worked in watercolour and pen and pencil and was a member of the Society of Authors, the Women's Institute, and the local Lunch Club and Art Society. Her paintings for children have been widely reproduced as prints, greeting cards and postcards and she illustrated her own books for children. Printed on 315gsm museum quality watercolour art board (acid free), which has a natural white finish with a slightly structured, soft-textured surface equivalent to a traditional etching fine art paper. The surface has a special matte coating, designed for high quality fine art reproduction with giclée technology. It is an archival quality paper with great colour accuracy. Individually cellophane wrapped with an artist biography backing sheet. The ivory mount fits a standard A4 (297 x 210mm) frame. If you would like your print framed and ready to hang in you can purchase a frame here.
