Denavolo Cataleva comes from 2 newly planted vineyards (2008) on well-drained limestone, stony soils at 600m altitude. Malvasia di candia, Ortrugo, Marsanne, Sauvignon and Santa Maria are organically grown. Half of the fruit is direct pressed while the other half is left in contact with the skins for few days. The wine is aged for 9 months in large foudres on its lees.
