Rolled leather is extremely soft; it helps prevent friction between the collar and your dogs coat which is great for long haired dogs that are prone to getting matted, the rolled design is also great for short haired breeds as it doesn't mark the coat as easily as flat leather collars do.  The half check design makes these collars the perfect collar for walks, the chain tightens to prevent the dog escaping their collar but the leather prevents the chain from getting too tight and away from your pups neck!
