A variegated form of culinary sage with edible leaves that are irregularly margined creamy white and flushed pink when young. Salvia officinalis Tricolor has purple-blue flowers that appear in late Spring and are enjoyed by bees. Best in sharply drained, fairly poor soil in full sun and a warm position. Not as strong growing and tolerant as other forms of sage.
