Beatrice Alemagna: On a Magical Do-Nothing Day (Second Hand)
€8.00
Tales for Tadpoles
This is a great book for screen-addicted kids (and adults)! A young girl is brought to a rural retreat by her writer mother, and all she wants to do is stay inside and play her video-game. Disaster strikes when her game console falls in a pond, but she soon discovers that the natural world has plenty of its own wonders to play with and explore.
Beatrice Alemagna is one of our favourite illustrators. This book is rich with autumnal tones and textures; you can almost feel the damp fogginess of the forest coming off the pages. The neon orange of the little girl's raincoat adds a splash of contrast. This is beautiful book to treasure, for any age.
Format: Hardback.
Condition: Almost new. Slight scuff marks and a small pen stain on the cover but the inside is perfect.
