LOOP Blocks are compact and lightweight multipurpose snatch blocks fastened with a LOOP shackle. The short LOOP minimises damage to the deck, hull or superstructure. The blocks are available with plain bearings or ball bearings. The ball bearing blocks have a two stage bearing: at lower loads the ball bearings minimise friction and at higher loads the plain bearing comes into effect. Nice little block for many special applications. Due to the Dyneema® loop which is led thru the hollow axis, the block withstands very high load for its size. A perfect block for outside sheets, barberhoulers or 2:1 main halyards.
