Salt Pig with wooden Scoop and Achill Island Sea Salt
The stoneware Salt Pig is designed to offer you practicality and beauty while cooking in your kitchen.
If you enjoy cooking up a storm, the stoneware properties of the Salt Pig, (from the Scots dialect meaning an earthenware vessel) can help keep salt from clumping in humid kitchens, and has a wide opening so you can easily dip in to season your meal, using the Arran Street designed, Eoghan Leadbetter made, wooden scoop, (or your fingers if no-one is looking).
Its architectural form and colour palette is strongly influenced by the heavy geometric influences and triangular shapes of the Art Deco Chancery Park beside Arran Street East’s studio in the markets area.
