Sundried tomatoes are high in vitamin C and other powerful antioxidants such as Lycopene, which is known for its cancer preventing properties, and Lutein and Zeaxanthin which help promote eye health and protect against age-related eye diseases. And, they’re YUMMY! Great in salads, sauces, pastas, on pizza, or just on their own! They are made by slicing ripe tomatoes into large pieces, then sprinkled with sea salt to preserve their nutritional values and kept in the sun from four to ten days.
