Louise spent her 20s in New York where Erika is currently living. This shared experience in New York is what drew these two creatives together to collaborate. Louise found an old map of the world and used it to design this map disc which features the coastline of both Ireland and America. This is a hugely meaningful image for Louise whose time in New York is still a constant source of inspiration for her, for Erika and all the Irish people who have lived or are living in the US especially in the times we are currently living.
