Soma Coffee - Honduras - Las Cascades
€18.00
Tree Bark Store
Since our first Honduran coffee, it has been one of our favourite coffee origins, however, due to difficulties from the political tensions in the country, Honduran coffee is nowhere near as abundant as it should be. Needless to say, we are always excited to get our hands on a new one. This Honduran is slightly different from our previous Hondurans, where we've previously had wild and funky Honduran coffee, this lot is a little more tame and accessible and we have no doubt that it will go down a hit with the crowds!
This microlot has been produced by three small local farmers in Honduras in collaboration with the Aruco Cooperative, in an effort to give the smaller farmers an opportunity to access the specialty coffee market.
This coffee offers a delicious yet simple, accessible, and versatile flavor profile. You can expect a crisp red apple acidity, with brown sugar sweetness and a rich chocolatey body! Keep an eye out for this coffee on espresso in our cafes if you're looking for a treat! We've been on the hunt for a washed coffee to put on espresso to offer some diversity from the Natural Brazilians and we think this one might be just the ticket!
