The flex is a orange with a dimmer switch and the bulb holder is metal. I have wired this myself (not an electrician) as a trial run for creating the new and improved lamps. It is not CE certified because of this although all materials used are of the highest quality. By purchasing you are acknowledging and accepting this fact.
