Michaela Denis (1914 – 2003) was a British-born wildlife documentary film-maker and presenter. She worked with her Belgian husband, the photographer and film-maker, Armand Denis. During the 1950s and early 1960s they became fixtures on BBC TV, with Michaela's glamorous appeal and enthusiasm adding a sparkle to Armand's quality film-making. In Ride A Rhino, Michaela writes about her life in Kenya, where the couple have moved into a new house, designed and built by Armand. They have a menagerie of nearly 100 animals around the house, and Ride A Rhino is full of anecdotes, proving that animals, no less then humans, have their own individual personalities. Published by The Companion Book Club in 1959. The book is in good condition with dust jacket and the binding is intact.
