Canary Island Geranium
Holder of the RHS Award of Garden Merit, Geranium palmatum is a robust evergreen perennial forming large rosettes of deeply dissected dark green leaves. In late Spring, the luminous magenta red centered flowers appear over the foliage on tall, wiry stems. Canary Island Geranium prefers to be in moist soil in full sun, where it is likely to self-seed. A good low maintenance bushy variety well suited to the cottage garden or informal mixed border. Also suitable for tubs and planters.
