Fat Went Fast is a humorous account about the battle to lose weight, containing amusing caricature illustrations by Fenton Wyness.
It is the story of a fat, one-legged gentleman, who goes on a 21 day Nature Cure at a health resort called Hungerside Hall.
Tom Scott Sutherland (1899 – 1963) was a prominent Scottish architect and businessman. Early in life he lost a leg through illness, but overcame the disability to become a good tennis player, swimmer, cricketer and fisherman and preferred a motorcycle to a car; he was also an expert bridge player and a leading member of the Aberdeen Magical Society.
Published by Christopher Johnson in 1956.
With dust jacket. Book is in good condition with binding intact.
