This is a very interesting teak box which is portable with the handle on top to carry it. It could have been used as a cash box or a merchant box for samples.
The inner shelf is removable and the little compartment at the top has 3 holes which can be pulled out. There's a lock but the key is long gone. With a bit of imagination, you will find a use for it.
