Meet These People is a collection of comic verses about prominent people, written by British script writer Reginald Arkell. Included are writers such as J. M. Barrie, G. K. Chesterton, Rudyard Kipling and Arnold Bennett. According to a review from the time, the rhymes are “essentially pertinent, and they are usually malicious almost, one might think, to the point of mild libel”.
