About the Product Simple and colourful stones, this necklace is made in our Northern Irish workshop. Carved by hand the 12mm triangle shape is set to fit onto a 45cm long 9 Carat Gold necklace. About the Stone Malachite is highly distinctive, with its variegated banding and rich green colour. Its colour comes from copper deposits in the stone. Mined in Egypt since 4000 BC it has been used as an eye paint, a pigment for wall painting, and in glazes and glass making as well  as  jewellery. An ancient material that looks wonderfully contemporary. About the Packaging This necklace is shipped in a black jewellery box
