What can’t be forgotten is the sheer beauty of Donegal, with its world renowned rugged coastline and mountains. The most famous mountains are ‘The Seven Sisters’, part of the Derryveagh Mountains. The seven mountains seemingly run in a dead straight line, piercing the Donegal sky. The largest and most notorious of the seven is ‘Errigal’.
